Main sights & attractions

The main sight in Ormesby St Michael is the village’s church. Unsurprisingly called St Michael, it stands just off the main road in the centre of the village. Not far from the church you’ll find Ormesby Manor, a Grade II listed manor house with a striking Italianate tower that was built in the 19th century.

Ormesby St Margaret also has a pretty parish church that’s well worth a visit. Dating back to the 14th century, the church wasn’t completed until the 16th century when Alice Clare, aunt of the future Queen Anne Boleyn, made sure the tower was finally finished.
