Bookings in the high season are Saturday to Saturday. Outside of this the owner is flexible with any start day with a minimum of two nights stay. Short breaks are available upon request.
Noosa Sound is a spacious, well presented one bedroom riverside bungalow situated directly on the main River Bure in the heart of the popular village of Horning.
The property features a large living room with floor to ceiling picture windows providing beautiful elevated, panoramic views of the water. Sliding patio doors lead out to a raised verandah with table and chairs.
The living room features comfortable seating, TV/DVD and Sky TV, including Sky Sports.
The well-appointed kitchen/breakfast room includes a dishwasher and washing machine and is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay.
This pretty cottage sleeps up to 4 guests; the master bedroom boasts stunning views out over the river and garden with further access out on to the verandah.
Additional sleeping arrangements are available via a folding bed which can be positioned in the living room area.
The outside space features a beautiful established garden and approximately 90ft of quay heading directly onto the main River Bure, which provides excellent fishing straight from the garden during the fishing season. Within the grounds a fridge is provided for fishing bait.
Noosa Sound has its own private drive, including parking for up to 3 cars. Guests have free use of the properties private mooring along with power and water supply.
Pet Policy
For your well-behaved pet’s safety and the consideration of all guests, we do ask that dogs and their owners follow a few simple rules during their stay:
- Pets must not be left unattended in the holiday property.
- Pets are not permitted in bedrooms or on any furniture or soft furnishings. We would advise you to bring along a pet bed to make sure your four-legged family member is as comfy as you are while on holiday.
- Pets must be supervised at all times both inside and out of the property. Since most of our properties are close to open water frontage, and may not be fenced completely, pets should be kept on a lead outside at all times.
- Please clean up after your pet, both inside and outside of the property.
Boat hire is available close by, and the highly regarded village of Horning offers a wealth of other amenities including 3 riverside pubs, 3 restaurants, café, deli, village store, post office and a butchers all within walking distance. The popular family adventure park, Bewilderwood, is less than 1.5 miles away. Wroxham, the capital of The Broads is approximately 4 miles away with a railway station giving access to Norwich within 15 minutes. This cottage is also well placed for access to a selection of the county’s beaches, including Winterton (12miles) and Great Yarmouth (17miles).
